Gargi Agriculture Research And Training Institute(GARTI) is very young. It was established in 2006. The Chairman, Mr. Rajan Bachhao was working for this project since 2000. He has travelled around the world to get advise from specialists and to build the Gargi Agriculture Research And Training Institute (GARTI) Syllabus.Since the program was new to the country.
It was honor for the Indian wine, brewing, alcohol industry that GARTI was supported by the Maharashtra Government and affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University and Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (M.S.B.T.E) Mumbai in 2006. For every new structure, everything is not perfect but GARTI had the passion, the ambition and support from educational organizations from Maharashtra.
GARTI has, today, more than 170 students per year, with new spacious premises, well equipped advance laboratories, study rooms & experimental vineyards, library with world's best books on Wine, Brewing, Alcohol, Computer, Commerce & Administration oriented to study and to acquire practical knowledge.
We have an experience of more than 25 years in the Agricultural Field. We know the problems of the farmers and the difficulties very closely. We always provide solutions for each and every problem on the field and in the market. We are now going to make them stand in the International market of Fruit Processing and Wine, Brewing, Alcohol Technology with the help of the New Generation.
The Aims and Objectives of this course is to train students for the emerging Agro Processing Industry and to increase the self-rural employment, with evaluation of over-produced grapes and other fruits, grains, herbs into valuable consumer products.
With the Open Global Marketing conditions now, long lived products from perishable fruits have a great demand in the International Market. This course has been designed accordingly.
