To make a great wine, you must know what great wine tastes like. Wine making and brewing is always a fascinating job. It’s like a continuous problem solving exercise - when to pick, how hard to press, what temperature to ferment, how long to leave in oak. A wide range of experience and willingness to experiment is necessary to expand one`s knowledge repository. Despite the increasing understanding of the science behind winemaking there are still a lot of practical things we don’t know.
Unlike wine making, brewing industry is also not just about making beer; it’s an art of malting, brewing and fermenting to make a fine quality beer. Practical Knowledge is a required part of the course and gives students a practical look at the industry. Brewing is a complicated, varying process that can take some time to get used to. Our programmers’ are designed to ensure that students receive a relevant, career-orientated education.
