At its scale, Gargi Agriculture Research And Training Institute (GARTI) wants to be a center of research. This experimental vineyard is designed to answer actual and future wine industry questions ( grape variety, clone, rootstock suitable for Nashik region; irrigation management; fertilizer management; soil preparation for new plantation; training system adopted for quality grapes etc.)
Gargi Agriculture Research And Training Institute (GARTI) has a 21 acres table grapes vineyard. All the wines has been removed and Gargi Agriculture Research And Training Institute (GARTI) is working on the plantation of wine grapes. The plants were imported to get best material to be selected for nasik region terrain.
A dynamic group of students worked on the first 2 hectares plantation with the guidance of our Principal.
