NASHIK Valley Wine and Food festival, 18th and 19th of November 2006 in KOLHAPUR :

Students delivered seminars on wine making, viticulture and wine tasting. It was a good experience for the students, expressing their self in front of a public. They also organised and managed the wine tasting dome. Few students were in the public, giving information about the actuality of the wine industry.


HYDERABAD workshop on the wine industry of India, 16th of January 2008 :

This workshop has been organised by the Centre for Innovation & Technology and ASCI (Administrative Staff College of India), through the support from the Technology Management Division (TMD), Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Govt. of India (GoI).
The purpose of this work shop was to identify and discuss issues of interest and concern, bottlenecks, felt needs and unmet gaps, and possible alternatives and solutions that have an impact on the inorganic growth of the wine industry in India.

The students worked on this subject, collected information from vine growers, wineries, analysed information from Mahawine International Conference and Exposition 2008. With a delegation of four people, GARTI actively participated to this workshop. Two students did a power point presentation were involved in the discussion. It was a great opportunity to learn and to understand the wine industry organisation in India.
