GARTI (Gargi Agriculture Research and Training Institute) is very young. The opening ceremony has been organized in 2006. But our Chairman, Mr. Rajan Bachhao is working for this project since 2000. He has travelled around the world to get advise from specialists and to build the GARTI Syllabus.

It was a good news for the Indian wine, brewing, distillation industry that GARTI was supported by the Maharashtra government and affiliated to Pune University and Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (M.S.B.T.E) Mumbai in 2006. For every new structure, everything is not perfect but we have the passion, the ambition and support from educational organizations from Maharashtra.

GARTI has, today, more than 170 students, with new specious premises, well equipped advance laboratories, study rooms & experimental vineyards, library with world's best books on Wine, Brewing, Distillation, Computer, Commerce & Administration oriented to study and to acquire practical knowledge.
